eBook Review – Once Bitten by Lisette Ashton

As a fan of vampires and a fan of erotica, something combining the two is always going to be high on my to-read list. Once Bitten is no exception. I believe Once Bitten is classed as a novel, but it’s a fairly short novel. That’s not a bad thing, the story fits well into its word count, any shorter and it’d have felt rushed, any longer and potentially it would have felt too padded out. The story is action packed from beginning to end.

Book & eBook Review – Temptations 1

Review by Jared Dean

Temptations 1 contains 7 short stories with something to appeal to most fans of well written erotica.

Whether your fantasy house-hunt is something like the one described by Elizabeth Cage in Bliss, or the daydream fantasies of Cyanne, there is something to make your blood run warmer.

The stories are all well written, with good characterisation, such as the repulsive teacher described in Kitti Bernetti’s ‘The School Reunion’ where the once ugly duckling has become a Swan and uses her feminine wiles to seduce, and then humiliate her former teacher. There is the taboo busting Confession by Kristina Wright, where a girlfriend services her boyfriend’s own father, or in the Window Cleaner’s boy, where all eyes are on the young man who cleans the office’s windows, but the narrator in Carmel Lockyer’s story only has eyes for his older, but clearly virile colleague.

In Confidante, Beverly Langland’s characters are looking for a new Slave and a Master, and the story tells of their auditioning each other, whilst in the collection’s closing story Two’s Company, Georgia Brown describes how the fantasy may not be everything that the man in the relationship wants or needs.

There is heat of all types in this collection, with none of the stories outstanding their welcome, or boring the audience. Hunt it down, it may make you think, as well as making you feel slightly warm.

Author interview with Clarice Clique

Interview with Clarice Clique

Q. What was your childhood ambition?
My first one was to be a writer, then I got a little older and was convinced I was going to become Christian Slater’s wife, then I got even older and it was back to being a writer.

Q. What are the most important components that go into making  good erotic fiction?
Not putting any limits on your imagination or being scared of pushing down boundaries.

Q. What does your working day typically consist of?
Getting up as late possible, I’m a girl that was definitely made to spend as much time in bed as possible. Staring at a blank screen daydreaming for far too long. Possibly going back to bed with my favourite buzzing friend. After lunch frantically typing and getting everything in my head down on paper. In the evening it is careful fine tuning word by word, or if it is a good day I am busy getting real life inspiration for my next story. Continue reading
